Mandy Powell was born in Richmond, Virginia and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she studied Literature, Art, and Early Child Education. After living abroad for several years Mandy gained inspiration through vising museums such as the Louvre, the Sistine Chapel, and Van Gogh’s Museum. She has been an elementary school teacher for over 20 years and is part of the Prince William Art Society.
